SIN online application documents
Digital copies of your original ID. Do it from your phone in a minute, no print shop needed.
Requirements
- Format: PDF on an A4 page
- Maximum size: 2 MB per file
This is the commonly used size: we found no requirement published by the institution. Confirm it before your application.
Tips to get it right the first time
- Documents must be valid, clear, complete and in English or French.
- Scan your primary document and, if you are an adult, a secondary ID such as a passport or driver's licence.
- Service Canada does not publish a file limit; 2 MB is a safe size, adjust if the form allows more.
How to do it with Requisito Listo
- Open «SIN online application documents».
- Scan the pages with the camera or pick a PDF or photos you already have.
- Put the pages in order.
- The app builds the PDF under the size the portal asks for.
At the end you'll see a checklist: size, file weight, background and format. If something doesn't comply, it tells you what to fix before the portal rejects it.
