What you need
- Proof of identity and proof of address (originals) from the UIDAI list of accepted documents
- Mobile number linked to Aadhaar, for online updates with OTP
- Fee for the update at the centre, when it applies
Step by step
- For address or document updates, log in to myAadhaar with your Aadhaar number and OTP
- Upload a clear colour scan of the original proof (PDF or JPEG) and submit
- For new enrolment, biometrics, mobile or photo changes, visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra or enrolment centre
- Keep the request number and track the status; then download the updated e-Aadhaar
